Dr. Fujita majored in veterinary medicine at Hokkaido University and obtained a veterinary license. Subsequently, they completed the Japan Small Animal Surgery Residency Program at the University of Tokyo, becoming a specialist in Japan Small Animal Surgery. Dr. Fujita currently serves as the head of the surgical department at the Japan Small Animal Medical Center, specializing in general surgery and oncological surgery. Additionally, Dr. Fujita has obtained the FUSE qualification supervised by the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and conducts educational activities on the proper use of energy devices, including electrocautery.
